During an intimate masterclass in The Orangery at Warren Street Hotel, Tawana Schlegel will share her expert techniques and guide you through the art of designing a floral arrangement to take home. Following the workshop, you will retreat to Warren Street Restaurant & Bar for a Floral Afternoon Tea; a thoughtfully curated experience inspired by the beauty of blooms.
Originally trained as a clothing designer, Tawana thinks in layers and textures, designing flowers as elements of an overall design ecosystem. She has worked for more than a decade as the head designer in some of the most renowned floral ateliers in New York, including Lewis Miller Design.
Tawana is now the founder of Tawana Schlegel Design, which, among other creative projects, provides the botanical décor and floral arrangements for the Firmdale Hotels of New York.
