Spend an afternoon with bestselling author Adam Kay at Haymarket Hotel, where he'll be discussing the first book in his hilarious new children's medical mystery series, Dexter Procter, The 10-Year-Old Doctor.
Adam Kay is a former doctor who has written seven books and sold five million copies. His debut book, This is Going to Hurt, is a literary sensation: a Sunday Times number one bestseller for over a year and winning a record-breaking four National Book Awards.
At this fun-fillled event, children can hear all about the hilarious and gruesome adventures of Dexter Procter, take part in a Q&A and have their books signed by Adam.

ABOUT DEXTER PROCTER, THE 10-YEAR-OLD DOCTOR
Adam Kay is delighted to introduce you to Dexter Procter – the world’s youngest doctor. It was clear from the moment he was born that Dexter Procter was different. He started speaking at four seconds old. By the age of five, he had 86 A-levels, from Afrikaans to Zoology. Now aged ten, he’s got his first job as a doctor.
Despite a loving but annoying family and a couple of good friends (Rupi and Otto), Dexter’s always struggled to fit in.
