Join us at Ham Yard Hotel for our annual winter rooftop pop up in collaboration with Sipsmith.
The Winter Gin Garden: Sipping History invites you to drink and dine on our usually private roof terrace, hidden within the central London skyline.
Sip your way through the centuries, as you discover four hundred years of cocktails. Grab a hot water bottle and blanket, and tuck into both steaming and chilled cocktails alongside a selection of fire-cooked food.
Look forward to:
- Hot Buttered Gin (17th Century) - A twist on the much-loved hot buttered rum, popular at this time, but with a Sipsmith Origin 1639 gin and berry twist
- Gin Mazurwari (18th Century) - A nod to pale ale’s first carbonation in 1767, this long, effervescent cocktail joins citrus flavours with green tea and grapefruit bitters for a refreshing, savoury drink
- Ginger Blazer (19th Century) - A theatrical blazed cocktail of ginger-infused Sipsmith VJOP gin, orange and honey and lemongrass
- Sloe Lady (20th Century) - A sloe gin take on the classic white lady with a hint of black pepper
- Ginicillin (21st Century) - A warm variation on the Penicillin where peaty whisky is replaced with homemade applewood smoked Sipsmith Lemon Drizzle gin
And a menu including:
- Jacob’s Ladder beef rib with botanical rub, smoked chilli and chimichurri
- Toasted black pepper, Pecorino and black truffle flatbread
- Kombu and barley glazed mushrooms, smoked over juniper, bay and rosemary
- Rock oyster shooters, finger lime, grapefruit bitters and Sipsmith Origin 1639
- Toasted marshmallow, toffee apple, cinnamon and ginger crackers
Step back in time this festive season and discover gin as you've never known it before.
