Celebrate this much loved holiday at The Whitby Hotel. Get ready for the parade on Central Park West or take in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as it passes down 6th Avenue from the comfort of your own private terrace in one of our Headline Suites.
At The Whitby Bar, enjoy a Thanksgiving menu showcasing rich flavours. Sample House made magret duck sausage with red cabbage and black Périgord truffle and Roast heritage free range black turkey with porcini-chestnut stuffing and potato purée. Expect tempting desserts including Caramelized pumpkin flan with Chantilly cream and candied pepitas and Pear frangipane tart with ginger ice cream.
Christmas
Spend Christmas in the heart of the city's festivities. Enjoy the magical displays and luxury shopping on Fifth Avenue or skate at Rockefeller Center, before finding a cosy spot to celebrate with friends and family at The Whitby Hotel.
On Christmas Day, dine on indulgent menus featuring Yellowfin tuna with fennel, heart of palm, pine nuts and blood orange to start, followed by Rocky mountain rack of lamb, with a black pepper and coriander crust and Chocolate bûche de Noël with blood orange sherbet for dessert.
New Year's Eve
Join us for New Year’s Eve and savour elegant dishes accompanied by live jazz from the Sam Taylor Trio.
Start with Blinis with smoked salmon, Petrossian Tsar Impérial Ossetra caviar to whet your appetite before a celebratory menu. Expect sophisticated specials of American wagyu beef tartare, Lemon-butter poached lobster with parsnip purée and Bloomsdale spinach and Butternut agnolotti with brown butter-sage cream and black Périgord truffle. At the stroke of midnight, toast to 2025 with a glass of Bollinger, Special Cuvée Brut Champagne.
