FINE CELL WORK

Fine Cell Work is a charity which makes beautiful handmade products in British prisons. Teaching prisoners high-quality needlework boosts their self-worth, instils self-discipline, fosters hope and encourages them to lead independent, crime-free lives. Fine Cell Works products have been designed in collaboration with some of the country’s leading contemporary designers and are all hand-produced in limited editions. Kit Kemp has been a trustee of Fine Cell Work since 2015 and has sat on the charities' design committee for seven years.

Heritage of London trust

The Heritage of London Trust helps preserve the buildings and monuments that tell the story of London and its people. The Heritage of London Trust was set up by the GLC in 1980 to fill the gap in what public bodies could do for London’s lost, neglected or ruined buildings and monuments. Today, the Trust continues that role – seeking out restoration projects which help keep the city's character and charm, and provide a link to its diverse history. Kit Kemp is a trustee of Heritage of London Trust.
